Thom Garrison - CEO

Thom is the oldest son of JT and Charlotte Garrison, founders of Garrison Service Company. Thom graduated from the University of Tennessee in Business Administration, lettering in track 1973-1977 and was All American in 1973. Starting with Garrison Service Company in 1977, he moved in 1980 to Bowling Green, Kentucky to establish the second branch of Garrison Toyota Material Handling. In 1985, Thom moved back to Nashville and was promoted to President of Garrison Service Company. In 1999 Thom became CEO and promoted Stuart Thompson to President to handle the daily operations of the company. Thom is an active outdoors man and accomplished sailor.

Stuart Thompson - President

Stuart joined Garrison Service Company in 1981 as service manager after moving from Michigan to Nashville with his wife and two children. His experience in the auto industry led to a promotion to Parts and Service Manager. He held that position for several years. GSC grew and expanded. In 1996 Stuart became the Vice President of Operations for the company. In October of 1999 Stuart became President of Garrison Service Company and holds this position today. Stuart is a talented stained glass artist and teaches the craft to students in the Middle Tennessee area.

John Glaus - Operations

John was 22 years old when he started as a technician in 1982. In his 27 years with GSC, John has held many positions and had many responsibilities. In 1998 he was promoted to Service Manager where he continued to provide a high level of customer service. In 2001 John was recognized as one of the top five service managers in the nation by Toyota Material Handling USA. Over the years his involvement with the Toyota Customer Quality Engineering Feedback Group has led to improvements in product and customer satisfaction. John continues to pass down his knowledge by teaching Forklift Operator Safety Programs all over the Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky area. John is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and has won numerous awards.

Don Lampley - Controller

Don joined GSC as controller in 2004. Don brings 30 years of accounting and network administration experience to GSC. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in 1974, Don worked for the state of Tennessee as an auditor. He soon entered the private sector where he worked in middle Tennessee in real estate investment, construction, and manufacturing industries. Away from GSC, Don likes to work on his 60 acre farm in Cheatham County and relax on his pontoon boat.
